
A statue of The Queen is set to be unveiled next month at York Minster as part of the Queens Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
A statue of The Queen is set to be unveiled next month at York Minster as part of the Queens Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The Statue will officially be unveiled on Friday the 23rd of September where it will be then blessed by The Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell.
The statue will be placed in Northern Transept and will also feature an exhibition which narrates the process of making the sculpture.
Archbishop Stephen Cottrell expressed his excitement suggesting he was “looking forward to unveiling the statue of Her Majesty The Queen”.
