A family-run cafe which closed after a decade of trading could be transformed into an exciting new eatery. Chloes of York shut in March and put out a notice on the door thanking their customers. Named after the family’s Chocolate Labrador dog, the family behind Chloes said it was time to call it a day.
Now plans have been submitted to the Council to create a Portuguese restaurant, bar, and grill, Tasca Frango, by Emma Hargreaves and Ted Hustler. They opened their successful Portuguese-influenced Frango Eduardo in Stonebow last April, after previously trading in Spark.
