Police have arrested two men in connection with a string of burglaries in York. North Yorkshire Police say officers are investigating a series of 2-in-1 burglaries, where thieves break into a house and steal car keys and the car.

The arrests were made Wednesday afternoon and a police spokesperson said “The break-ins began in homes in the west of the city but other areas have been targeted." “The men, both local and in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of dwelling burglary.”
