Stores on Clifton and East Parade are set to close within the next couple of months.
Two more Boots stores are set to close in York. The branch on Clifton is set to close on the 17th of February. A sign in the window of the shop directs customers to the nearest branch which is on Coney Street in the city centre.
Other nearby stores mentioned on the poster are the ones on Front Street, Acomb and Monks Cross Shopping Park. Meanwhile, the Boots on East Parade, Heworth, is also just weeks away from closure.
A poster in its window says it will close on the 9th of March. These are not the first Boots stores to close in York recently with the store in Coppergate Centre closing in August 2020, as well as the Kings Square Shop closing in October.
