Two teenagers have been arrested following the stabbing of a young man in Haxby.
Police were called at around 6:30pm on Friday after it was revealed that an 18-year-old man in Haxby, had suffered a wound to his abdomen.
Fortunately, an ambulance crew was able to treat the man at the scene, meaning that he did not have to go to hospital.
The suspect, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and remains in police custody. Officers also arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of assault.
