Vandals have destroyed vital equipment at Ovington Cricket Club for the third time this year.

Vandals have destroyed vital equipment at Ovington Cricket Club for the third time this year. Members and officials at the Club have expressed their upset after finding the sightscreens vandalised at their pitch on Little Knavesmire. 

They took to social media to express their concerns stating: “We play on public land and this behaviour makes running clubs like ours harder and harder. “We run on a very small team of volunteers who give up a large chunk of their time for this local club.” The club are urging people to spread the word to try and stop the vandals before they become a target for the fourth time.
