North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision on the A1036 Malton Road on the outskirts of York.
The collision happened at 8.10am on Tuesday the 6th of August and involved a vehicle transporter leaving the road and colliding with a tree.
The driver of the vehicle was seriously injured and was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
The road was closed for several hours in both directions from the Toby Carvery (Hopgrove Lane South) to the A1237 roundabout.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
