A group of Dracula enthusiast have broken a Guinness World Record in Whitby.

A group of Dracula enthusiast have broken a Guinness World Record in Whitby. The record for ‘the largest gathering of people dressed as vampires’ was broken by 1,369 people in fancy dress on May 26^th. The English Heritage record attempt was part of the 125^th anniversary of the publication of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, a novel inspired by the Whitby Abbey. This gathering was the first in a series of events planned, running until June 5^th.
