A building in York which operated as a bookstore for over 100 years is expected to undergo a major refurbishment after a takeover and will sell books once again.
The four-storey, 15th Century building at 70-72 Micklegate, formerly Ken Spellman books, will be ran by Lucius books.
The owner, James Hallgate, has obtained planning approval for some parts of the building and is expecting approval for the remaining areas in the very near future.
Once the renovations are completed, the building is expected to become the biggest bookstore in York.
