York City FC Foundation are proud to announce that they will be hosting the CEO Sleepout York, a unique fundraising event aimed at raising awareness for poverty in the local community.
“The Foundation hosted the event back in 2019 at Bootham Crescent and raised a breathtaking £25,000. However, this year they are looking to smash that amount. This year there are four main beneficiaries as a part of this project: York City FC Foundation, The Hygiene Bank, Carecent and SASH” said Foundation Manager Paula Stainton.
The event will take place on Thursday 18th of April at the York Community Stadium and will see CEO’s, Business Leaders and influencers come together to experience a night of sleeping rough, to empathise with those rough sleeping in our community and raise vital funds for these charities.
York City FC Foundation encourages businesses and individuals in the York area to make the difference in the local community. By participating in or sponsoring this amazing event not only will you be actively contributing to charity and making a huge impact on those effected by these problems, but you also will be taking part in this once in a lifetime networking event.
