York City Knights have payed tribute to former player Danny Sherman after his recent unfortunate passing.

York City Knights have payed tribute to former player Danny Sherman after his recent passing.

The former player, who played 379 games for the club and was inducted into the hall of fame in 2015, was airlifted from the LNER community stadium after falling ill but unfortunately died.

York City Knights tweeted in response to the untimely event that “The thoughts of everyone at the Knights is with Danny’s family and friends at this time.”
