York Council get Funding for Family Hubs

York has received £1m from central government to create Family Hubs in the city.

York has received £1m from central government to create Family Hubs in the city. As one of seven cities to receive funding, the hubs will offer services for every family, giving support for children in early years until they are 19 years. Services offered will include health visitors and mental health support. The hubs will be running by March 2024.
