A fire crew from Huntington received a report that a recycling bin had been set ablaze by some young people in Littlethorpe Close. However, it was discovered that the fire had been put out by members of the public before the crew arrived.
Crews then remained busy for the rest of the evening, being called to a fire next to a car and a mattress fire.
