Isaac Calvert who’s 15 and goes to Millthorpe School in York, has won the kickboxing world championship.
A York teenager has won the kickboxing world championship. Isaac Calvert who’s 15 and goes to Millthorpe School in York, won the title after competing at the WKC World Championship in Florida.
He qualified for the world championships at the English National Championship back in March this year. Isaac competed in two kickboxing categories, points and light continuous.
He won the gold medal in his light continuous category which gave him the title of World Champion for his age and weight category whilst also taking home the bronze medal in the points category.
