A cartoon superhero created by academics at the universities of York and Teesside has come to two York schools. The Green Kid, a boy from 2064, travels to 2020 to see if science can save his future world from the effects of climate change. Formed as a way to find a accessible way to get children thinking about climate change, the comic will soon be sent to all primary schools across York. The creators are now seeking further funding for another two issues to be distributed to local children.
