Tempt Vegan Chocolate, which opened in the heart of York, is sadly set to close. Chocolatier Karen Waller and her partner Jordan Murphy opened the shop in High Petergate in March 2021. Karen announced on social media that it will be closed on the 20th of August.

In an emotional message, she explained that there were many reasons for the closure, stating, ‘the decision is based principally on one main thing: a conscious decision to be kinder to myself and to acknowledge that it’s time for something new.’
