York City is delighted to confirm that defender Will Smith will stay with the Minstermen for the remainder of the season, on loan from Harrogate Town.
Following a stint on the side-lines through injury back in November 2023, the defender returned in December to slot back into Neal Ardley’s defensive line.
Smith has made 18 appearances in all competitions for the Minstermen since initially joining in September last year, picking up a Man of the Match award for his performance vs FC Halifax Town too.
The defender has also setup two goals for City since returning in December, turning provider for Lenell John-Lewis’ opener against Ebbsfleet and Adam Crookes’ 90+3rd equaliser against Boreham Wood on TNT Sports.
Subject to league and FA approval.
