York City FC are delighted to announce the signing of 29-year-old winger Callum Harriott.
The tricky wide-man adds a wealth of experience to the squad as a former regular in the EFL, with over 100 appearances in the Championship to his name and 9 international caps for Guyana.
He ventures into a new experience joining York City with it being the South Londoner's only northern team he has represented.
The winger started his career in the youth teams of Charlton Athletic before breaking into the first team. He continued to play for well established league clubs like Reading, Colchester United, and Gillingham before a short spell with Yeovil Town in the National League last season.
Capable of chipping in with goals and assists, his best scoring season saw him score nine times in 36 league appearances in League Two with Colchester United.
On joining the Minstermen, Harriott said: “I’m glad to be here, I’m just looking forward to get going now.”
He has high hopes for him and the team as he said: “hopefully we can just keep pushing forward and get right to the top”
The deal is subject to FA and National League approval.
