York City's new manager Neal Ardley started his time at York City with a 2-2 draw to Boreham Wood.
Neal Ardley took charge of York City for the first time on Saturday in the National League.
The minstermen played out a 2-2 draw against Boreham Wood with York goals coming from Dipo Akinyemi and Quevin Castro. However, the two Boreham Wood goals denied York City their first win of the season. York City are back in action on Saturday when they host Southend at the LNER Community stadium where they will look to find that all-important first win.
