The final score was 3-1 in favour of Hartlepool, with the Minstermen’s goal being scored by Tyler Cordner in the final moments of the game. Manager Neal Ardley says his side lacked the consistency and work ethic that is expected at York.
York City are now back in the relegation places in the National League table however can jump out of the bottom four if they win tomorrow. Tomorrow evening York City plays Oxford City who sits one point above the Minstermen, kick-off is at 7:45 at the LNER Community Stadium.
